We often hear from our customers that they don’t have their machine serviced regularly because they don’t use it very often and we understand the logic behind this ideal….However, like any piece of machinery, lack of use can cause the oil and lubrication to thicken over time, causing your machine to work harder and less efficient. Also the more you use your machine, especially with specialty thread or fabric that gives off excess fiber and lint, the more often it needs to be cleaned.
At Sew Generously, we want your sewing, embroidery, and serger machines to be in the best possible condition. We recommend a cleaning at least every 12 months to keep your machine working at maximum efficiency.
Our Service Department is on-site. When bringing your machine in for service, please bring:
·         Machine, Power cord, Foot control
·         Bobbin case w/ bobbin
·         Zig Zag needle plate
·         Foot #1  or #0 (All Purpose/Universal Foot)
·         Buttonhole Foot
·         Bernina Stitch Regulator – if an update is needed.
·         Manual – if it is a non-BERNINA sewing machine.

At Drop off – please list any problems that you might be having with your machine.
Looking forward to seeing you!
